On 18th July, 2019, a selected team of Rising African Ambassadors led by the Founder Amb. Ohanwe Emmanuel paid a visit to the Senator representing Akwaibom South senatorial district – Sen. Akon Etim Eyakenyi on a clear-cut mission of establishing a relationship between our ecosystem and her good office. It was never in a random chase for popularity nor sycophancy but was predicated on the outstanding qualities of Sen. Akon Etim who has been instrumental in the educational sector, ICT and housing, who has in just few weeks into the Red chambers moved a motion supporting computer literacy and emerging tech skills which is critical for young Africans in this Fourth Industrial Revolution era. Africa might have missed the 3rd Industrial revolution but will surely be a key contributor and driver in the fourth industrial revolution with the likes of Sen. Akon Etim Eyakenyi identifying with an ecosystem that nurtures such vision of helping young people find their voice and become irresistible in the digital market.

We also understand the roles of Policy makers, veterans in the educational and economic sector and international players in driving policies and mentorship that takes us in the right direction to achieving this goal and this has singled out Sen Akon Etim Eyakenyi from Akwaibom as the Mother and also a member of the advisory board of Rising African Ambassadors.
